The fear porn being pushed out by MSM was always hte biggest issue.

You are mischaracterizing the award intention. It was for everyone involved in Operation Warp Speed, Fauchi being one of them. This wasn't a standalone award for Fauchi's performance during COVID. THe vaccines have helped at-risk and old people. It was a great achievement.

Trump pushed alternative thereupeutics and was blasted. He told people not to be afraid. Never wore a stupid mask outdoors in public (aside from when he tested positive in October) and trashed its use. Said mandates were an awful strategy. Criticized the insane amount of testing. Always said that young people shouldn't take the vax.

Given the fact that COVID was a bioweapon to attack Trump and MAGA I think he did ok overall. What more does Sturg think he should have done that are actually realistic proposals?

Fine - Lets make a deal. Stop calling me a cultist because I support a policy set and I'll stop throwing insults back at you.

Are you able to understand and articulate what my actual positions are?

i.e... not assigning made up positions to me?

The entire premise of our debate is who is a better a candidate moving forward.

Unlike you, I do not have single issue situations that would completely make a candidate unvotable for me. For example, Trump is still on the table for me (but his desperate attacks to allies are wearing thin on my patience)

But my position is that your criticisms levied at RDS (covid, establishment, war, etc)... I can point to failing in the same areas (at a much worse scale) to Donald Trump.

My issues is, your criticisms of RDS appear to be deal breakers, or major red flags, or proof he is a sellout, or whatever the talking point of the day is.

But from a logical (not emotional) if these issues are deal breakers for you and RDS... then they must also be deal breakers for Trump. Each time I have shown you what I believe to a much worse shortcoming from the Trump presidency, you have excused them away... he didn't know. They were lying about the data. There was a deep state attack. He had to get ISIS... and when ISIS was defeated, he had to keep spending just in case a new threat emerges. His hires stabbed him in the back. and on and on

And all of those excuses may be completely legitimate. But I'm a logical person. So if you are willing to give DT the benefit of the doubt so generously, why are you so offended that I am doing the same (for much less transgressions, in my opinion)

A healthy conversation would be us both acknowledging the flaws of all candidates, and making the argument as to why they will be better moving forward. One of the best pieces of evidence for my criticisms against Trump is the 4 years he was in office. I don't have the same data set for RDS - who has never been president - but he is the executive of the third largest state of the union and his performance has been imperfect but exceptional

The comment of personal is policy is just straight wrong in this case. If that was the case Bolton would have gotten us into a new war. You know he wanted to.

So all Pedro is doing is a big whataboutism but loses the fact that we have an actual track record of Trump being a master at foreign policy. And yes "ISIS" was a big deal globally and it needed to be stopped. This isn't just making up WMD and then saying AH SHCUKS WE WERE WRONG.

The debt piece I'd have to move more into but Trump is a real estate guy. Debt is part of the package and debt with a negative connotation in this case is actually just completely missing the point. Would you not agree?

I'll address the longer post above before EOD>

The argument "Did you know she voted Democrat (similar to how I voted for OBama in 2008)" is not what you guys think it is. It just means that we aren't traditional R that sell out their voters every chance tehy get. The Demorats moved so far left that they opened up a grand coalition of working class voters. Go look at the polling now in the R primary. People under 50K OVERWHELMINGLY support Trump as well as non-white. That is going to be the same thing nationally as the Democrats left their voters behind a long time ago for Wall Street and Silicon Valley.

DeSantis' support is tanking. To be fair, it started tanking the second he began speaking more on a national stage.

I like DeSantis but his lack of charisma makes it difficult to win on a national stage. It's a shame because he's the best candidate out there.

It is great to see the Lincoln project, the MSM, and team trump all rallying around each other

The GOP saga is going to have a lot of twists and turns. The Bragg indictment (assuming it comes down) helps very poorly chosen one rally the base. But in a sense it is also a gimme for DeSantis and Pence and the others. They can criticize Bragg and show themselves to be loyal party men and women. This will somewhat inoculate them for what comes later. It will give them a degree of freedom to depart from very poorly chosen one when more serious charges are brought by Willis and Smith. I say somewhat inoculate because for some parts of the base anything other than complete total loyalty is a form of betrayal. But I don't think most of the base is like that. Most of the base appears ready to move on. The Bragg indictment is just a prelude to the main act.

I think they are desperate to keep trump in the fold so they can continue their grift

DeSantis would be a disaster for them

    100%

I also just think they continue Trump coverage even if he loses. Some people are desperate to give money so someone will post “RT if you think TRUMP SHOULD BE LOCKED UP!!!”

    If it ain’t broke…
