However they finish the year, I think both Folty and Wisler have shown enough promise to warrant a spot in next year's rotation.

Through 7, this is one of the best games I've sign Mike pitch. He's had better strikeout performances, but it just looks more legit tonight. Tonight, he looks like an established MLB veteran.

Folty still hitting high 90s in the eighth and paralyzes Belt for the K with a slider...then gives up a two out double. Even though there's still plenty of drama left for this one, MF has pitched a nice game and given the bullpen a much needed break.

Blair starting tomorrow. Hopefully he follows jace's path... Undeserved promotion back to big leagues, but run with it

Gotta hand it to Cabrera . . . looks WAY better than I was expecting so far in his young MLB career. Better poise and command than you would guess given his MiLB track record.

He's coming. His owner just got home from the local minor league game, where he saw a walk-off homer

The bad news is that, with tonight's win and Twins loss, we're only one win behind them for the worst record in MLB. Getting too close for comfort in that regard.

At some point they have to start winning and we losing more, so we should be able to gain that 4-5 game lead again.

Facing Bumgarner today should start that train again. But I'm worried; dropping De La Cruz from the rotation means they won't have that locked-in "L".

    We dropped de la Cruz?

    Teheran
    Folty
    Wisler
    Blair (for the moment)
    5th starter?

Perez probably returns from rehab. I hope Blair Wisler and Folty pitch lights out and we blow the game late because of Snitker's overmanaging of the bullpen.

Would have been nice to have DelaCruz though to have that higher probability of losing
