Through 7, this is one of the best games I've sign Mike pitch. He's had better strikeout performances, but it just looks more legit tonight. Tonight, he looks like an established MLB veteran.
Folty still hitting high 90s in the eighth and paralyzes Belt for the K with a slider...then gives up a two out double. Even though there's still plenty of drama left for this one, MF has pitched a nice game and given the bullpen a much needed break.
Blair starting tomorrow. Hopefully he follows jace's path... Undeserved promotion back to big leagues, but run with it
Gotta hand it to Cabrera . . . looks WAY better than I was expecting so far in his young MLB career. Better poise and command than you would guess given his MiLB track record.

The bad news is that, with tonight's win and Twins loss, we're only one win behind them for the worst record in MLB. Getting too close for comfort in that regard.
