First it was Megyn Kelly then the length of the debates now the moderators were mean.
Remember when Gwen Iffel was the issue ?
Gwen Freakin Iffell
Bet you half the people on that stage still don't believe Obama's Birth Certificate
, Ben Carson wants to have debates to the candidates liking and has all the candidates reps meeting.
Sans RNC
First off, there are 10 people on the stage. Second off everyone of these candidates have used explosive rhetoric to get themselves some press
and third off
What would the ideal debate look like?
How many?
Where?
How long?
Who moderates?
What questions ?
A week after the Benghazi fiasco and (R) complains about gotcha questions
Grow up . Like they say, politics ain't bean bag
///
side note:
Complaining about the MainStream Media sounds so "Palinesque"
Maybe that is what (R) should be working on -- getting beyond the Sarah Palin Syndrome they've found themselves in

Lol. So if Sean Hannity moderated a Democratic debate, and asked outright inaccurate questions, talked over and argued with candidates (thereby ignoring the term "moderator") and then didn't even give candidates a chance to respond to policy questions, you'd be OK with it? Because that's essentially what happened, just with the roles reversed. It's sad, but not unbelievable, that you can't see that, or refuse to see it.
I agree Republicans conveniently deride the "mainstream media" on just about anything while mostly ignoring their network's transgressions, but people from all over the spectrum crucified CNBC, and they should have. It was an absolute joke and confirmation of how much of a joke NBC is.
I'd have no problem with Hannity. The intent of the debates is to watch the candidates under stress. Be it policy stress or political.
Has Cruz answered the policy question he was asked ? I thought the moderators were in this instance correct. I also thought they should have called out Kasich for giving a speech instead of answering his first question.
I'd like the debates longer and harsher on the candidates. Both sides. All I gathe r ed from this last one was the Conservative Movement can't handle a slider
What kind of question is "What's your biggest weakness?" to START a debate? Kasich wasn't there to apply for manager at Office Depot. Never have understood that question in job interviews anyway. It's recycled and lazy and honestly, insulting.
The one time they were right was with Trump and the comment about Rubio he denied. It was on his website. But the lady wasn't even prepared to point that out. It was incompetence at its best.
What was legitimate in the question was couched in such egregious bias that it was an obvious point on which the political savvy (and I don't care for him mind you) Cruz would have been an idiot not to go after the moderator (a misnomer in this case). That's red meat - the "unwashed masses" of fly-over country scream at their TV screens at the patently biased talking heads. Cruz knew that, had his opportunity, and knocked it out of the park. And again if you don't understand that and take this, "whining" critique route, then I just don't know what else to say.
As an aside, because I don't think I mentioned this....
When Cruz had the line about "I may not be the guy you get a beer with, but when you need someone to drive you home, ..." I took that as confirmation he is indeed a vampire.

" ... couched in such egregious bias..."
" ... Cruz would have been an idiot not to go after the moderator ..."
or, he could have answered the question in a way that would have shown him a statesman rather than the not ready for prime timer he insists on projecting
Which is the rub. The (R) debates have not produced one moment where we see a classical statesman standing on the stage.
Either their facts are so wrong that a junior in high school can see through them or they are complaining.
About something.
And please, Don't let Fiorini smile again. That was creepy

There also hasn't been much newsworthy juicy stuff for the media to disect the D debates like the R.
Bernie and Hillary aren't fighting each other like the R are. Webb and Chafee are done. O'Malley is non combative.
Forever Fredi
Of course I'd like to see longer harsher debates -- and yes, both sides.
How am I supposed to make up my mind if all I get is infomercials.
You forget Obama had the stones to be interviewed by Rick Warren in 2008.
O'Reilly during the 2008 campaign. The other Fox guy after being inaugurated
You'd rather have people that can't handle incoming ?
Hillary testified for 11 hours in front of hostile partisan investigators.
she handled herself with out whining --
I and many gained new found respect for the way she comported herself
not my primary vote, but respect
why can't Christie Cruz,Carson or Trump ?
//////
You obviously didn't see either the interviews Maddow had with Sanders and Clinton.
Paul stood for her interview once.
You'd like Hannity to moderate a debate between (D).
Why doesn't (R) show some strength of conviction and have someone from the Left. Not Chuck Todd but say someone like Amy Goodwin , Maddow or Olberman in the day.
If you think your candidates and their ideas are valid --- well -- man up.
And quit enabling them

Perhaps the next debate Dr Carson gets to explain this

ahh --- another gotcha question.
which to my mind means a question a candidate would rather not answer for obvious reasons

Just stop. Rick Warren? Good gracious 57, you live in a bubble.
And you make another mistake in your "analysis" - going after liberal media moderators isn't "not handling them" - it's handing it to them. And after Cruz handed it to the guy, and was then ready to answer the kernel of a legitimate issue within the pile of sticking crap, it was the moderators that got their panties in a wad.
And yes, Hillary knocked it out of the park too.
