The Thunder rely way too much on 2 players. This is a team with just crap outside of those 2. (Ibaka is good defender and can hit a jumper) Until they add pieces around those guys, hard for me to expect them to come out of the West.

I know its partially to do with me pimping them all the time but I find it funny that people are HOPING for the Thunder to not win.

I personally like all the Zombie Sonics except Westduck, who I sort of loathe (though not nearly in LeBron territory of abhorrence) and who I think is overrated (though not as massively as he used to be). Of course, part of the reason I started to like the team is that I really like Harden; but I'm a Durant fan as well. They're definitely one of a handful of Western Conference teams I wouldn't mind watching win a Championship, if the Bulls don't make the Finals.

Yea, I do think Houston is better than the credit these Thunder-pimpers are giving them — though I think they'll take at least a year to gel into a legitimate Finals threat in the West.

I never said that Houston wasn't a good team. The fact of the matter is though that the top 2 for the Thunder are better than the top 2 for the Rockets.

Asik won't get much playing time or as much as he was.

Beverley is solid.

The rest are pretty much nothing better than any OKC players, so.

Oh, and the use of a bench is overrated in the playoffs

Teams shorten its rotation in the playoffs.

Starters get most of the minutes.

The Thunders closing lineup will probably be Reggie, Russ, Thabo, KD, and Ibaka which is pretty damn good.

Fair — it was the poster who keeps calling himself a pussy who called Houston "overhyped" and has been denigrating their roster.

I agree that Durant is better than Harden, but I'm not sure it's by so much that it makes the duo definitively better than Harden+Howard if and only if Howard plays like he did in Orlando (as opposed to the turd-out-there version from Los Angeles) — because Orlando-vintage Howard is definitely superior to Westbrook.

If they are, it aint by much. Harden has turned into one of the best players in the NBA and Howard is the best center in the NBA by far. (and one of the best overall)
