Regards to 2B, if they dump Uggla, one of LaStella/Pena/Pastor would be 2B, would love Infante but i doubt that happens.

I agree on a SP but who?
I think the more time that passes and Ervin Santana doesn't find himself a new team is good. Hopefully his asking price will come down if he's not getting a lot of interest. I would like Santana if we could get him at a reasonable price.

We do not have a hole in CF. We just have a bad player. If you think the braves are going to do anything with him your mistaken.

At this point I don't know what to think about 2B. I think wren will bring in some type of vet to play.

We have a very large hole in the rotation. IMO.

I'm not going to say we couldn't use an ACE type pitcher but who is out of the rotation in that case?

Santana/Arroryo should not supplant one of existing pitchers. Burnett is way too much of a wildcard.

I would actually love Hughes as well but I have a feeling he ends up with the Mets.

I could see why you would think Beachy because of his injury concerns. I really liked what Wood showed last year. He is ready to be a full time member of the rotation. I don't see how the massive increase in salary justifies a minimal improvement in performance. I'd rather spend the money on the bullpen/bench/extensions.

Either trade for David Price or just go with internal options for the rotation imo.

    AJ Burnetts/Bronson Arroyo types? Pass.

I don't see anyway wood or bechy throws 200ip and a sub 3.30 ERA.

I good with 1 of beachy/wood being in the rotation but not both

Do you think they need to do that as the 4/5 starters?

I don't think Minor, Medlen, and Tehran are enough 1-3 to get the job done. They need help and wood/beachy isn't enough.

I think we are going to get 600+ Sub 3.5 FIP from those 3 next year. Plenty good for me.

I just think the Braves need to stay the course. The young core just needs to get more experienced. Their talent levels are excellent.

Its way early in FA and most figured Mac would leave, logically.

Huddy was a little surprising but no reason Wren should give him that much.

Not that we need to a whole lot anyway.

We could do nothing this offseason and still be in good shape.

I doubt we get into Arroyro, santana, or Hughes.

But I see no reason not to try to get Loshe.

If wren doesn't get a SP now he will be getting one come July when they cost way more.

    Lohse depends on the prospects.

Arroyo/Santana (if you mean Ervin), no unless he lowers his price tag by a lot

    Would like Hughes alot actually.

Burnett as well, but depends on cost.

I disagree on HUGE hole though, we need one starter and thats maybe being generous depending who the pitcher is.

Yes, except for the fact he wants 100+ million.

This FA market is questionable, i agree with thethe that FW should try to sign some guys to extensions and work on the bench/bullpen.

Im not sure none of the P's we will likely target are huge upgrades over Wood/Beachy as the 4-5.
