I could download chrome. Or opera had it on there before. As long as I have tabs I don't care.

If samsung still offered a physical kboard like the blackjack or epix I'd still be with them.

Physical keyboards on a small device is pointless, they don't make them anymore for a reason, because they're worthless. They have been for a long time, they reduce usable screenspace or add unnecessary bulk.

Seriously what is a phone is used for?

It is too small to do anything, the money they charged you a MONTH is ridiculous.

I use my phone to call if my wife need to pick up something at the store.

I hated my wife 7 inch android and got a 10 inch for myself, but I only mess with it a few times a month.

How can you justified $140 a month for a phone.

Thanks, I am old enough to be a grandpa, just don't let my daughter know that.

I don't know anyone who pays 140 a month for phone unless they're a super power user, I pay about 70 a month.

    LMAO

The wife is a CPA for several businesses and hearing her complain that they think it is justified for paying it makes me wonder, screw job.

If they're paying that much, it's for more than one line, or they're stupid. Seriously more than 110 dollars for one user is too much. That's enough for 2 GB of data on Verizon unlimited talk+txt and insurance and accounting for tax. Especially if you're living somewhere where you have choice. They could easily switch to T-Mobile or Sprint or Verizon or AT&T.

Zeets I have no idea what you have against BlackBerry users or BlackBerry.

I've had a note2 for 2 years. First touchscreen phone I've ever had and I've enjoyed it but I like efficiency with typing. Physical keyboard gives me that. Not swype.

I'd keep my note 2 and use it for games and youtube. BlackBerry would be strictly for texting some minor internet browsing like this site and calls.

I don't care for ultimate customization. I bring my laptop most places for heavier tasks. I also am not that big of a tablet person as I enjoy physical touching. Hate voice command. Feels like cheating.

Blackberry is the only company in the market that provides a physical qwerty kboard. There's still a nice sized niche market for thay5.

What I have against Blackberry is they're still stuck in 2008. You can like the physical keyboard, you're allowed to, but it's been proven over and over again that the non-physical keyboard is better. But do what you want, I don't care. It's your life. Just think Blackberry is a failed company, they should have gutted themselves 5 years ago when it was clear they lost the war to Android.

How is it proven that a non-physical keyboard is better?

I don't have to worry about a touch screen phone misidentifying which buttons I pressed and I don't have to backspace.

I don't get pressrd with a physical qwerty. I get pressed. Or habr. I get have.

The feel of a physical keyboard and blackberry has always had the best qwerty, cannot be matched by any touchscreen phone. Don't care what you think.

It's not about what I think, but about what's been proven in tests over and over again.

I can type faster on a qwerty and more accurately.

Those tests are ridiculous. There's no way you could ever accurately test feel. I also don't have to rely on my keyboard to predict words incorrectly. My fingers are perfect size for blackberry keys. They don't fall onto the wrong keys.

$25 dollars is too much a month.

Hey, I pay $35 for 3 months and happy as I can be. I make my emergency call for what to get at the store and hang up. I go home and get on the computer. My tablet just looks at me and wonder if I ever will turn it on.

I'm the total opposite. Haven't touched my iMac in 6 months. Granted I don't work on computers so everything I need to do I can do on my smartphone.

That's fine, I have a smartphone, tablet, desktop, laptop, and chromebook, they all serve different purposes. Laptop is basically out of commission and was more of a desktop replacement though. They all serve their purpose in my life. My smartphone is used when I'm not at home. Some of us like to stay connected you know. My tablet is primarily an ereader/tab app that I use as a play along aid for learning certain songs, chromebook is used to browse web on the couch or the road, and desktop/laptop for power usage.

Any opinions on GoPro cameras? While I love snapping and editing on IOS (yes I switched back), I wonder what the buzz is on that particular line? Are they mostly for video, or do they take decent stills?

Id primarily be using for spontaneous nature / sunset photography, but wonder if that's even what I should be looking at.

In other words, I want an iPhone 6 for sure, but if a goPro is seriously an awesome camera, I might want to get both and choose a cheaper 6 model.

    I'd really appreciate your opinions.

    GoPro is basically for videos.

If you want an awesome camera get a DSLR.

I can't believe you switched back mossy!

Anyways, I would take Zito's comment a step further and say that GoPros are basically only good for action and POV videography. Would also second the DSLR comment and recommend something like the Nikon D5200 which is a nice prosumerish level camera which takes excellent pictures and HD video.

I don't know what your budget is, but take a look at the Samsung NX series if you are needing to stay below $400/$500 ... for some reason their digital camera line hasn't taken off yet (but it will, soon) and there are some insane deals to be had on some superb mirrorless technology.

I'm not shocked Mossy went back to iP6. Apple is a hard mobile ecosystem to leave. It's constructed to have you stik around.
