Here's hoping Wisler throws a no-no.

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

Rockies down 2-0 in the 4th, Braves up 1-0 after 1. Looking more and more like we will pick 4th.
Which is a complete joke to me and a great example of the apathy that runs throughout our organization from the ownership down through the front office to the manager. There is no sense of urgency. The only thing we should be concerned about is doing what will help improve the team for the future, which means losing on purpose. Not surprisingly, the "good ol boys" take an "aw shucks" approach to it and here we are pissing away draft pick position

You never want to lose on purpose. And 1 spot is likely not going to mean that much. Consider the Braves were in the middle of the pack in the middle of the season and look how far up the draft board we went. Regardless of what we've done the last couple of weeks we've positioned ourselves to get a good player next year.
We can agree to disagree on that. Just 2 weeks ago we were in the #1 spot. Winning these games has done nothing to help us in any way. Why don't you want to ever lose on purpose? 1 spot can mean a whole lot in drafts, especially if a talent emerges that is clearly elite above the rest.

Getting a gift from the Rockies, Giants let them tie it up in the 9th, Rockies bases loaded with 1 out.
*Edit: 5 run rally from the Rockies in the 9th, and they're now up 5-3. Unbelievable
I've said it before, and I will say it again. Whether this team picks 1st or 10th, I have the utmost confidence in the Braves scouting staff that they will get a high quality player. In a draft that reportedly has 6-7 elite prospects per Kiley McDaniel, picking 3rd is a good spot for the Braves. The Braves, with their scouting staff, are far more likely to get it right picking third than the other teams picking around them.

We should get a very good pick at 3. Add in the potential international guys and our farm system will be crazy.
Pitching or Blake Rutherford?
I see the front office going pitching.
