The type of pitcher Nova is is the absolute worst for this lineup even if it wasn't a little cold. He WANTS you to hit the ball to get outs and outside of Markakis, even the veterans swing at the first strike they see in the zone.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Lol... as much as I wanted rid of flaherty, I will admit he was good at the beginning of the year. On May 1st, he had a .822 ops with 97 PA. Since then though, he had a .371 ops with 79 PA. It was beyond time for him to go

Who knew Gausman wouldn’t be an auto out? He’s put up some better ABs than some of our regulars since he’s been here.
Nova threw almost as many pitches to Gausman as he did in the first two innings.
Ender might need to get his vision checked. He has now complained two nights in a row about a pitch that was clearly in the strike zone.
