A running QB that is all over the place makes it difficult but that is not what guys like RG3/Kaep are. They are sitting in the pocket then escaping. By the time they get outside the tackles they are so athletic that no defensive lineman is going to catch them.

are you for real? I can't tell if you are or not.

What's sad is that you guys are all bright eyed and bushytailed about running QBs, I've lived through it for years. Sure you'll point differences between Vick and RG3/Kaepernick, but guesswhat, that **** happens.

VICK IS NOT A QB. Never was. Once you start realizing that then you will understand that your ideas are just wrong.

A Michael Vick offense is COMPLETELY different than an offense with RG3/Kaep under center. Its amazing you are even attempting to say its similar.

RG3 and Kaepernick play the same way as Vick.

The difference between Vick and those 2 is that Vick is the biggest physical freak to play the position as he had more speed and agility than either of them that whne he took off he was even more deadly. In Kaepernick's first full season he ran 92 times, in 2012 RG3 ran 120 times.

Kaepernick's number is good to comp to Vick's numbers in Philly, RG3's number is 3 behind the most Vick has had in a season.

You lived through Vick winning more playoff games for your team than Matt Ryan, lol

I can't say the same for RG3 becuase I don't watch him play all that often but Kaep does not play like Vick at all.

Hmmm, RG3 not being able to run like Vick:

Age 22 season (Vicks 2nd year; RG3's rookie year-healthy for first 12 games)

    Vick 113 rushes, 777 yards, 8 td
    RG3 120 rushes, 815 years, 7 td

    Passing:

    Vick 231-421 54.9%, 2,936 yards, 6.9 ypa, 195.7 yards per game 16 td, 8 int
    RG3 258-393 65.6%, 3,200 yards, 8.1 ypa, 213.3 yards per game 20 td, 5 int

Man, I just wish RG3 was as good as Vick..........

You never watched Vick that much either. Kaeprnick, RG3 and Vick are 2 look maximum then run QBs. Until RG3 and Kaepernick learn to be advanced in their reads, they're the same as Vick.

Vick was always just a horrible passer. You simply cannot compare Vick to anyone.

And Kaep didn't run as much this year BY DESIGN. There is no reason for him to run when he can be an effective passing QB. We all saw what happened when the games counted more. Kaep started taking off for big yardage.

Kaep had a down year with injuries to his receivers this year and still had a higher completion percentage than Vick ever had in Atlanta by 2% points. Saying Vick is anything close to an average passer is LOL worthy.

What the **** does passing have to do with athleticism.

In 22 year old season Vick rushed 6.88 YPC while RG3 was at 6.79. How convenient you ignored that. Vick played in an era that was much less protect the QB friendly, where WR could be mauled as long as the ball wasn't in the air, etc. Comparing cross era stats is foolish.

Perhaps different OL have different strengths and handle situations differently.

Perhaps. But as far as I know, no OL has eyes in the back of their heads. And every OL I've ever played/talked with rather would have the jump on the defense then react to the defense. That's why most OTs hate silent counts because you loose your edge over the DE.

You are delusional in comparing RG3/Kaep to Vick. He was and always will be a horrible QB. RG3/Kaep are so much better than he ever was in terms of passing.

Tenth of a yard over 100 carries is 10 yards, which is a first down on it's own, so yeah makes a difference, and proves how moronic your post was. Congrats!
