Well the one where we did win is not part of the conversation. For my money, we should have won it all in 1991, 1996, and 1997 to add to the 1995 title. All the other years we just weren't quite good enough.
Didn't say that. The debate was the playoffs being a crapshoot. Depending on point of view we are the poster child for why that is not the case. Generally our biggest flaw at playoff time was being cheap in the bullpen in the early 90s and the AL philosophy of betting on the three run homer. The Braves have never been built to manufacture runs. Otis had a great 1991 and let us down when it counted. And Furcal never was turned loose to run wild. Like I said I guess it is a point of view thing.
The best teams doesn't always win the WS. The Phils won in '08, and were probably the best team in the league in '10 and '11. The Giants won two while not being the best team in either season. It's about getting hot, getting timely hits, and yes, getting a little lucky.
Still didn't address how the Marlins are better than we are. You were so certain! How's that?
Philly had super-teams in 2010/2011, didnt win the WS, while in 08, they won it while their rotation was Hamels/Moyer/Blanton/Myers?
Yankees have 1 WS in the last 15+ years, and have a 170+ mil payroll.
Giants in 10-12 were hardly stacked teams.
Tigers have had Verlander/Miggy plus other studs, no WS.
LAD had Greinke/Kershaw/Ryu plus studs in the lineup and didnt win it.
The playoffs are absolutely a crapshoot.
Btw, how are the Marlins better?
Other than you being negative as hell.
Well prior to the last 10 days we hung within three games of one another. Thats a couple games here or there. We had just lost three straight to the Phils and honestly getting thumped in Washington was not outside possibility. Had it happened we would have been in third place.
Put your badge away officer, I have already paid my fine. I can see right now you have problems accepting others views. You called me "******* DUMB" I could have retorted "blind as a bat" concerning the Braves play for six weeks prior to the last week but I didn't. And by the way, lets just see how they do when they actually start playing contenders again.

Sure, but none of us saw it coming, especially after Philly.
Which is ridiculous because there were tons of factors as to why we were slumping.
Justin was cold.
Freddie was extremely cold.
Our bullpen was blowing games (see Boston series, Mariners, etc.)
Despite our run differential, we were a much better team than those lose 3 win two streaks we had.
