Just because we won't bother to watch the team play games next season doesn't mean we won't find time to keep annoying you et al on these message-boards.

Plus: they have internets in Europe, you know?

Absolutely. And that's what will make those posts even more comical when you can't possibly know what's going on since you're not watching.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

We won't need to watch the games to see 6 of the 8 regulars with a sub 700 OPS and make fun of it

Lol, This lineup makes the 1988 Braves look like the Big Red Machine. Andres Thomas would bat cleanup in this laughably bad offense.

We're going to see the infield in so often that a legitimate infield fly is going to look almost as bad as the one in the Wild Card game.

"Did you see how far he had to go to get under that? A few more steps and he would've been at normal SS depth. Tough luck for Simmons. Maybe BJ can sneak one between the SS and the pitcher after they walk Freeman."

Absolutely - all hits are smoking line drives, all Ks came on 98 mph fastballs, and HRs are never wallscrapers when you read box scores for information.

Maybe we can get Kelly Lee from the Bad News Bears to help save this offense.

BTW, did y'all see that only the Giants after signing Aoki are projected to hit less homers than us? The bottom three are Philly, Braves and Giants in that order.

In short samples this may be true. But a month into the season and the team OPS is 650 then there is nothing that will be able to justify it. Crap is crap.

Why would YOU ever be looking at an Atlanta Braves box score? Where I went to school Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves aren't remotely close to being spelled the same.

I always wondered how people would have handled the 1980 teams. I think we are going to find out. This is going to be a very bad team. People have been spoiled and I don't expect this board to handle a rebuilding year or two very well. It'll probably be best to stay away from game threads this year. If you thought last year was bad, it'll be a lot worse this year. The whining will be at an all time high.

Only 2 years ago, we were the second best power team in the NL, now we're one of the worst. We were 3rd worst last year, and traded our 2 best power bats. Womp womp.

There will be the same trolls who only post when **** is going bad. That won't change. I think the biggest thing you will see is an overall lack of posting. What is there to care about when the team is in the cellar? Nothing to get excited about except a hope and a dream that's two years away.

Even then, that's only if you're a pitching boner type of guy. If you're like most baseball fans and care about offense, all you really have to be excited for is Freeman and maybe Peraza.

So we only care about the team when they are good?
