This may be a 6-7 spot inning.

Good job not talking to him after the balk/double sequence.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Also, we should have 10 runs against Chen.
Days like today really make me question the whole “playoffs this year” thought.

    There it is.

Chuck Hernandez...the worst pitching coach in the majors.

Julio is so freaking stupid. YOU ARE AT HOME. Play like you’re at home. The crowd needs to boo him so badly.

When you balk at the calibre of a lineup, you’re not actually supposed to balk the hitters.

Brinson is such trash too. Lol

The offense has to get this back. It’s Chen, and there’s no excuse not to get back in it.

Julio is more effective when fastball is 88 vs 92. Somehow

Julio is no better than a number 4 starter these days. Probably closer to a 5. He's a shadow of the guy he was.

Not sure how this is Chuck’s fault.

You have to visit a guy after a balk/double sequence. Maybe it changes diddly squat, but that was terrible by him, absolutely terrible.

This reminds me of Marlins series of the early Aughts: Braves teams would come in crushing, them drop some crushing defeats to Florida, almost always with a Mike Redmond pwnage of Glavine peppered in there.
