Angel Hernandez is almost as bad as CB Bucknor. Both those guys should have been fired a LOOOOOOOONG time ago. They're the worst in the game. Why MLB ignores consistently terrible umpires is beyond me.

I hope this isn't a playoff preview as far as umps go. We have a history of such come playoff time.
Fredi finally arguing like he means it, must be that first divisional title talking. Seriously, how can you not pinch hit for Janish there?
Varvaro hung one there and it go byebye. I hope the Nats help us out by winning tonight.
A good throw gets him at second but that wasn't even close.
Well, Simmons made a great play but the throw hit the mound. No one backed up Gattis on the play either.
That's called an error but not deserved. It reminds me of an error Simmons got saving a bad throw by Freeman, then throwing falling wide of first after doing so.
Yeah, seems like I say this every night but Justin is not a good defender. And now this garbage play. Wake up Varvaro.
Average SS doesn't get to that one, result is the same except its "unearned" this way.
He hasn't been good anywhere this year, esp. bad in left though. Historically he's been good in right as far as range and getting to balls for outs. But always been bad with the ball because his throws are rarely accurate if strong enough. But even worse he often throws to the wrong bag too. I am hoping that will change here in Atlanta over time though. I have noticed him throwing more to second than throwing home when he shouldn't lately. Though yesterday the runner almost fell so his throw to second turned out wrong too.
They better pull their head out of their behinds and come back tomorrow and play some GD baseball.
Schafer is another guy who has no business getting any meaningful AB's (like Janish). I though with Heyward back we wouldn't see him, but wrong again.
Fredi wrote this one off. And we played like it.
LaRoche hit into a double play with runners on first and third to kill a Nats inning. Now Nats have blown the lead and about to fall behind it seems. A hit means two more runs for Cardinals, Carpenter is up. He struck out so stays tied for now.

at least it was quick. 2 1/2 hours is all I can take.
Well those good feelings from Sunday faded fast, didn't they. What a way to celebrate the championship at home.
Cardinals on their way to beating the Nats now, so bad night all around it seems. While yesterday was good day all around. Oh well.
Cardinals beat Nats. I won't be surprised if Nats are swept by them. I just hope the Brew Crew don't sweep us, given the pitching match-ups they could.

Alright we had the hangover game. Now it's time to go play some damn baseball.
