Jonny, if you hit a foul ball, hit it at that dinosaur behind you. He creepy.

Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
Embarrassing. Bullpen game for the Rockies vs. Miller and we lose.

Good way to head into the break...our ace gets shelled and the an emergency starter and some bums hold the Braves to three runs again.

That kind of offensive output in Coors is pretty sad.
For all of Andrelton's defensive expertise ........ (finish however you like).

I'm just disgusted at watching him bat. I know he's great defensively... The best. I wish the nl would answer the American league's dh with a designated fielder that doesn't have to hit.
I'll be better tomorrow or when miss state starts playing football, but this 3-game losing streak vs last place teams has me disgusted

Yet not entirely surprising. We have zero power in our lineup, so we aren't exactly the best equipped team to take advantage of Coors. Coors takes away a lot of our only real positives, which is our starting pitching and infield defense.
We are a bottom 10 offense with Freddie really, and probably in the bottom 5 without him. The only thing that has really kept us afloat this year offensively has been our ridiculously awesome hitting with RISP.
The Coors effect is insane. It just kills even the best of pitchers.
I think some people forget just how strong it is.
Shelby wasn't terrible, but everything got down for a hit!
Also, Simmons is so lost on offense. This is just terrible.
You took the words right out of my mouth. I was going to follow up by saying this, almost to the letter, but since I've been called out for being such a negative nellie, I decided not to.
You are right, though. There's a narrative that has emerged about the offense this year which has taken root in certain circles, where people project their aesthetic preference for this contact-oriented offense onto their perception of results.
This year's offense may very well end up better than last year's, given the way the 2014 team cratered—in fact, it would be hard to imagine that it won't. Still, to date, the 2015 offense is actually a little worse than last years, according to runs scored (both relative and absolute) and by wrc and wOBA.

These last three days should put to bed suspicions this team can actually compete.
