What has hurt the Falcons the most is the inability to draft early round linemen and have them be at least average. We have missed on a TON of early round picks that have been VERY poor players, that it is comical. Anderson, Jerry, Baker, Konz, Johnson, Holmes, etc..
We have drafted ok other than the DL and OL. This years draft looks like a solid one at least, and outstanding one at best (Matthews and Hageman both don't get judged just as yet). Should get 4 solid contributors, but that also speaks to the lack of depth a good bit.

Wilson can play well when his team puts him in situations where he doesn't have the win the game through the air down the field without Seattle having the threat of the run. He's just not that accomplished as a passer. He can run around and make plays and throw the ball to Harvin in the backfield though.

Calling him a top 6-7 QB is overrating him. Not in order, Rivers, Ryan, Luck, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, Romo, Brady. If you want to toss Brady out for his past 2 year struggles, Rapelisberger. Wilson is maybe the best of the Luck, Kaepernick, etc. group. But Luck has stepped out of that so far this year.

That's wonderful. When the entire stadium knows the ball is going to thrown, it makes it tough on the quarterback. Not making excuses for Kirk as he's made some very bad decisions with the ball. Regardless of being one-dimensional on offense or not, he has to make better decisions.
Arizona's pass defense is middle of the pack according to footballoutsiders. I believe their defense is also giving up 370 yards per game and are among the leagues worst in sacks. Arizona also doesn't have DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Andre Roberts, and Jordan Reed.

He was better than Romo last yr (even if only slightly) and has been very similar in rate stats this yr, despite Romo having much better offensive weapons and playing a weaker schedule. I'll take Wilson all day long over 4 INT Romo.
And he's definitely been better than Luck prior to this season, but given Luck's talent level and absolute dominant start to this season, I'd probably put Luck over him now at this point.
Brady's last yr and half haven't been very pretty. He's had two great games in a row, so may be he has righted the ship, but I'm not willing to bet on that. Not every QB ages like Peyton. I would still put Wilson over Brady at this point. Wilson doesn't have any weapons either and plays in a much harder division, seeing 3 of the best defenses in the league 6 times a yr.
Agree on Peyton, Rodgers, Brees, and Ryan.

Wilson doesn't have any weapons? PErcy Harvin? Baldwin? Tate? Lynch? Wilson hasn't been surrounded by bums. Sure he doesn't have the Broncos corps.
