I really question the preparation on a night like this. Day after the first home off day since April. Starter tonight has lousy stuff. Easy to think you'll just come in and hit. Instead we're getting dominated

I think I've seen a few changeups from Newk this this inning. They've not looked bad.

Even though he obviously wasn't really throwing 101, that was an impressive outing against a good offensive club. Whatever that FB velo was, he maintained it for 100 pitches.
He needs to get that change working though.
