His right side is so good that he doesn't need to be great on that side, but when the crazy power finally is gone for him he's going to need to bring that side's average up. As long as he hangs around .770-.780 in OPS on that side, he'll be fine.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
Just had the experience of listening to the Phils radio broadcast on XM. Don't know their names but their PBP guy seems pretty solid. OTOH their color commentator is an epic douche.
Joey Bats 0-2 so far tonight after going 1-3 with two BB's and a K last night. He is hitting .158 in AAA so far.
I guess it's pretty much just late spring training for him right now.
He will be our starting 3b regardless. Helps to have a name and a GM giving you a reach around

I agree, Anderson I thought was among our most overrated (note I originally said this before this season's struggles).
Maybe folty just needed a Flowers?

Flowers is a great pitch framer. He even framed that one miss call good an inning ago but ump didn't call it because Folty missed where they set up by so much. Still a strike and nice frame job I thought.
