    Anderson up, Santana down.

This makes ZERO sense. Santana is a positive player with 0.3 WAR while Tomlin is costing the #Braves games with -0.7 WAR. I just don't get the fascination with him.

We'd rather lose than hurt tomlin's feelings. Snit and AA are punks for this move. They traded panda for someone else to cut him rather than cut him theirselves. AA and snit need to grow a pair, and do what's best for the team. Tomlin has pitched 3 times in august (5.1 ip, 11 er). Now we have Santana, newcomb, and muller in AAA, and they're all better than Tomlin. This was a pathetic move

Rosario is in the lineup today batting 7th. For some reason Pederson is batting 5th.

Maybe it's to break up the RH and LH?

Oh, look SF has another player starting this game with a career year in his 30s.

Not sure why this is surprising - I mentioned it was coming the other day.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

This sort of puzzles me. Red signed Ender Inciarte after the Braves cut himm loose, and he's hit .288 with seven RBIs in 15 games since he joined them. But the Reds have released him; might it be that they told him he would not be recalled in September and this allows him to hook on?

I admit to liking Inciarte and was not among the haters.

Pretty clear Tomlin is the Lairdership this team needs to compete.

Seems pretty obvious that Santana has options and Tomlin doesn't and the rosters expand in three days, so Santana will be back then. Essentially a three day move. Santana probably won't even report to Gwinnett. Just to be clear I'm not arguing in support of Tomlin, but the front office's thinking is clearly obvious in this situation.

Santana will more than likely be the 27th man. Who will be the 28th?

Tomlin is going to be garbage time guy until the minor league season ends.

They aren't going to take anyone that might be anything someday away from development just to be available to pitch blowouts.

They used touki today rather than Tomlin. If Tomlin isn't used in the 9th of a 9-0 game, what is Tomlin time?

snit has ahead relievers and behind relievers. Tomlin pitches behind. Even if down 3-0 in the 5th is higher leverage than up 7-0 in the 9th. He's bad at tactics as we know.
