I'm not even batting an eye about whether he's dealt or not. He is talented, but SHOULD the Braves trade, I'm sure Hart and company will do well. I think if they're peddling Chris Johnson, he's going to be the reason this message board explodes!

If Wood can be flipped for Hamels, why not just trade Wood, Peraza, etc to Philly for him?

Matt Holliday's quad fell off again. Black Jesus is going to have to play both LF and RF at the same time for St. Louis now.

    I agree with this.

Plus, the way I see this is that the Braves were approached about this trade. They could have sat back this deadline and not dealt wood or peraza...so somewhere along the lines, they were given a name that they couldn't say "no" to...

Maybe we'll luck out and this radio silence is because the deal fell through.

Wood is a 24-year-old lefty who has pitched very well for a ****ty team two years in a row now. 24. <--- He is going to get better. And we have--HAD--him under control until after the 2019 season.

One can only hope that was what they were thinking.

Let's just hope that name wasn't Hector Olivera.

Dodgers-Braves-Marlins' three-way trade far from done. Medical concerns in multiple directions, esp. with Hector Olivera's elbow. But ...

**** me forgot about the damn elbow. was a problem this winter too.

It's just a vent. We are completely idiotic for trading Wood if we're not getting their top prospect and Puig in return. I'm sick of the "injury risk" argument.
