I'm one of, if not the biggest Fredi supporters on this board but I just don't understand what he's thinking with BJ. I really don't.

I criticize Fredi a lot over bullpen management because I think it matters, in terms of game results and the health and effectiveness of the staff.

With lineup construction, I find some of it odd but can't get excited since it has been shown lineup construction matters very little.

Platoon matchups (for our hitters) fall somewhere in between, not as important as handling the pen correctly but somewhat consequential over the course of the season.

Not having Simmons hurts. It hurt us last night. He really is probably our most valuable player other than maybe Heyward and Freeman.

The lineup move that seems warrented is Justin to clean up.

I have no idea where to hit BJ. Maybe 9th, if you have a pitcher who can sort of hit, like Julio.

If lineup construction doesn't matter, Freeman should hit second. It most certainly does matter.

This lineup is clearly working, so I understand why Fredi is sticking to it.

I wouldn't mind Freeman hitting second.

    Heyward
    Freeman
    Johnson
    Justin
    Uggla
    Gattis
    Simmons
    P
    BJ

    Works for me.

As long as BJ is hitting second, Freeman hitting third has diminished value, so yeah. I'm fine with it, too.

You buncha' nancies need to get out of your momma's basement and relax. BJ is coming around, and we are about to ass-fist the Expos.
Get a six pack and a roll of Charmin. You're gonna crap when you see what "whatchoogonedo" is about to lay down.

Shouldn't this be in the Rasslin' Thread?
