Oh yeah. The Acuna lover. Did he leave? Have we ever seen him and crazy in the same room together?

I'd do a similar Touki vs. Wilson bet over the same time period.

No, but it would be glorious. I actually forgot his posting name because so many people called him by his first name for some reason. What was it? Taylor?

Clearly I'm referring to the discussion a few weeks ago where Smootness(?) and he apparently had some sort of bet about Acuna's OPS (or something) and Enscheff was whining about something to do with Acuna's growth or something and how it made the bet moot.

    Was cringeworthy.

Good to see that Beanie is still carrying Enscheff's jock though. Maybe he's an alias? Who knows.

I called him Taylor because he always complained about how mean I was...like the Taylor Swift song

Seeing him go was nice. There are 1-2 others I wish had the balls to take me up on a similar bet.

Lol, unsurprisingly you don’t understand the discussion. Sales engineer and all...

I stated Acuna would have a .300-.320 BABIP and .700-.750 OPS when he first entered MLB based on his MiLB batted ball profile. He had those numbers almost exactly in the first half of 2018 at the MLB level.

He then made adjustments and became a stud. Smoot decided to take my comments out of context in a “gotcha” attempt.

I think my track record at evaluating young players speaks for itself.

You like Touki more than Wilson?

Touki is a bit of an enigma to me. You can sort of tell he got his start with another organization.

I also like Touki more than Wilson, but not enough to make a bet.

    I think it goes roughly:

    1. Soroka = Wright
    2. Touki = Gohara
    3. Wilson = Anderson
    4. Fried = Newk
    5. Wentz = Muller
    6. Allard = everyone else who isn't going to impact the MLB team

I'm enjoying Muller a lot as the flavor of the week.

also, Weigel deserves be on your list of names somewhere and not next to Allard.

It's literally buying all the decline years of a 1B only player.

This is the exact type of deal the Braves need to avoid with Freeman when the time comes.

The good thing is that he won’t see a big defensive regression. So as long as he can rake still, he will be fine. 22 million in a few years might be the going rate for 2 wins.

Pujols earned his money exactly one year. Good luck.

Except that Pujols 32-36 age years....might have actually been his 36-40 years. No one really knows....not even him.

Also there are reports of 5/130 million. A little more AAV than Bryce Harper.

that's pretty smart on Goldschmidt's part. He probably doesn't get that on the open market.
