I suspect the histrionics will be taken a down a notch compared to how dramatic Freddie was last year.

I suspect you are correct, but when the lights come on, we start chopping and he gets that huge ovation when they announce him… he’s gonna be choking back tears. I know I would be.

With Shuster getting his first MLB win yesterday, pretty cool to see 3 of the 4 picks from the Braves 2020 draft in the rotation and making an impact.

It could start to weaken or diminish closer to sunset so maybe if they went to be patient they get it in late

That isn’t rain falling. Those are the tears of Freddie Freeman.

    And by extension, msstate.

With a long rain delay, seems like an opportune time to have the 570th Freeman v. Olson debate.

    FF 2.0 fWAR
    Olson 1.4 fWAR

    Not really a comparison

Looks like they may be taking the tarp off. The rain remains almost stationary just on the edge of the area. If it stays on the edge we may have a shot

This is true. I'm Olson's biggest critic, but he's certainly a good (not great) player. We could do much, much worse than him

Eh, Olson is pacing 5 WAR as a 1B where he gets a huge defensive penalty. I’d say that’s pretty great.

He's currently 5th in fWAR among 1b, so I suppose you're right. I consider "great" to be top 5 at your position.
