The trade is complete, pending approval from the commissioner’s office, according to Rosenthal (Twitter link). Callaspo has agreed to allow the trade to go through

@truebluela Farhan Zaidi was in the Oakland FO that kept sending Callaspo like a ping pong to Texas a few seasons back.

Again, as reported previously, #Dodgers getting major-league pitching in deal. Would expect that Cahill and/or Stults is involved.
It that's true about Stults or Cahill I'm convinced Hart could sell ice to the Eskimos.

It's not LA, but one of the things at Philly beer fest has been food trucks. And there were 2 that rocked. One just did fried cheese curds, that's it, but did them perfectly, and the other did Mac and cheese in various formats. When you're hammered, I don't think there's a thing better than copious amounts of cheese. Except for the Pork Roll sandwich, that **** was intensely awesome.

As long as the minor leaguers are nothing of value I like it. Uribe is a solid piece off the bench. We've needed some pop off the bench

If we're trying to win, Uribe should start

No Uribe-Callaspo trade announced as of first pitch. No sign of Uribe in Dodgers dugout. The Dodgers already are playing with short bench.

I could see that. There are excellent food trucks in Philly.

Some of my best/worst moments in life involved food trucks in some capacity.

They must really want this thing to get done.

When it's 2 in the morning and your drunk and want grease, nothing beats it. Except the Rutgers grease trucks. I may or may not have consumed a few of those really intoxicated.

If the Dodgers got Cahill, Stults and Callapso and we got nothing we would have won the trade by a landslide.

Certainly seems that way. I still believe in Cahil though. If you let him start 20 games I think he will get it together. Just slight mechanical issue with his arm slot that is correctable.

A source said Callaspo approved being traded to the Dodgers. As @Ken_Rosenthal said, the deal might hinge on the commissioner's approval.

So Callaspo changed his mind. Confirms my suspicion the Braves are run by the mafia.

Downtown Manhattan has by far the best food trucks.

Disclaimer: I've never had food trucks in any other city in the world but I'm still right.

Cahill has not been good for the majority of his career. He's not as bad as his ERA but he walks WAY too many batters for how few Ks he has. Guys who walk 3.5 batters per 9 cannot K 6.17. His only redeeming quality is as a groundball pitcher sometimes those walks get negated, the downside is as a ground ball pitcher you let more hits fall so those walks can be amplified (like we're seeing this year)
