Heyward pinch hitting for Russell. Maddon just about in desperation mode.

Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
The Dodgers strike out just as much as the Cubs do. People are always looking for silly postseason narratives.
"Yes, I did think Aldrich was good UNTIL I SAW HIM PLAY. "- thethe
I never said a thing about the Dodgers. The Cubs conversely have been touted as this offensive juggernaut and thus far not lived up to it (very much like last year). The Dodgers have shut them down and it is mostly due to the Cubs missing the 3rd strike at an average of 1 per inning. It just shows that good pitching will still beat good hitting. I kind of think you are putting your own narrative on what I said.. maybe still butt hurt that Herpes let down the gNats again..maybe not.. not my concern really.

I do not like Chicago's chances the rest of the way
Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
pete rose is just insane..like clinically..
Wild how the Cubs offense has just all of a sudden evaporated.

Right but I never said any narrative. I said the cubs have some swing and miss. and if they are not hitting bombs they are not scoring. Then I tied it together with I am glad the Braves are rebuilding around pitching. I am glad they are focusing on the pen and starters. That is what I feel is the best formula to win. And this years playoffs has only strengthened that belief
I'd be relatively alright if any of these teams won it all. I'd love to see the Indians or Cubs take it though.
I think the Cubs and Indians are the best two teams in baseball so that would have the chance of being a really good World Series.
As per the swing-and-miss on both these teams, any team can go into a slump. I think the problem for the Cubs is there's not a lot of offensive tools in the shed. They walk and they hit a fair number of HRs and that's not happening for them in this series . . . yet.
