Yep, Francona has been great, but he botched this one. I know he is limited, but you have to go to Miller and just let him go as long as he can, then figure it out from there. He tried to let Kluber sneak a few more outs in, and it killed him.

No idea what he was thinking. There was no reason for Kluber to face Baez. It was obvious he wasn't going to face Fowler a 3rd time, so it was pointless to try to squeeze one more batter out of him.
Man, I am just ready to get the off season started.

I agree with that. He's been better than Lester, he's more rested than Lester, and Lester doesn't ever come out of the pen. He's still the better option.

With Lester ready to go 2 innings there is no reason to let Hendricks face the middle of the Indian lineup for a 3rd time in the 6th. I would not have brought Lester in with a runner on base though.
