Just tuned into Reds game, cant believe Hamilton already has 10 steals with 0 caught stealing considering everyone knows he is stealing when he comes into the game. Would be really nice to have a player like that.

I cant decide what would be sweeter, watching the Nats just fall short of a playoff spot or having them make a miracle run only to lose to the one game playoff.

Peraza will be a burner on the base paths. Not like Hamilton but a potential 50-60 SB guy. If Hamilton could actually get on base he would challenge Ricky's record.

And apparently Hamilton is a legit threat to steal home from time to time. He'd be a fantasy baseball wet dream given that he could almost single-handily win you stolen bases (if you're in a rotisserie league) since it seems the league leader these days is going to finish with 45-60 steals most years, and Hamilton could be be legit 80-100 SB guy...if he can get on base.

Struggling to see how making a simple request is "classless."

But blatantly showing up a team in their own stadium isn't....

I am looking forward to Peraza but I'd love to have Hamilton. I have liked Hamilton a while, I even suggested making a solid trade offer for him years back. I was dreaming of having him play second or centerfield for us, lol. This was back when he was still starting at short (not that he's been playing in centerfield that long).

Anyone knows what happens if there was a 3-4 team tie/playoff in the AL WC?

I hope it happens, Selig's head may explode.

I don't mind LA celebrating in Arz, jumping in the pool is ridiculous but don't want it happening, beat them.

Yep, I gotta admire the heart the O's are showing given how little sleep they've had. This one has been a battle between two teams with a lot on the line. So as it should be pretty much. The teams against them in the Wild Card race (Texas and Cleveland namely) gotta be happy to see them spending so much for a win too.

Rays just won it. The O's battled them for it though, I guess they finally ran out of gas.

Never said it wasn't. Both are, in my opinion. And one is the product of the other.

One did cause the other to happen. But it was pretty big overreaction to the situation. All they did was "request" that they not celebrate on the field. Thats hardly an unreasonable request. They simply could have said no if they had a problem with it instead of acting like even bigger douches by jumping in their pool.

I must be the only one who thinks it is 'classless' to ask a team not to celebrate if they clinch. How often does that happen? Only time I remember, though it must've happened before.

I wonder if Arizona had safety/security concerns that based their request that Dodgers not celebrate on the field. I understand that the stands were empty when they went swimming.

Would Dodgers or other teams felt the same. What if we win today? Will the Cubs ask that we not celebrate on field?

    IDK

Depends if its for one playoff spot or both either way they have scenarios for both. They take 2 days of play in games. And selig likely wants it as its more revenue

Hopefully if we win today, all of our guys run up to the Ivy Walls and start humping them. Gotta steal LA's thunder.
