This got too depressing to read.

It's unbelievable that there's still a faction of people in this country that believe this is a hoax... whether it's for political or financial reasons, or the fact it's just plain ignorance.

People are reluctant to be identified with progressives or liberals in any way. To believe in global warming must feel like becoming a completely new person for many.

Soon conservatives will stake out a new position that accepts global warming but disagrees with progressives in how to deal with it. Then everyone can sneak onboard.

Seems like a points thread. But either way, I'm not sure how it can be disputed that climate change is manmade or at least accelerated as a result of our actions.

I see pollution from factories or cars and believe it's logical to conclude that there's an effect from that pollution. Now whether that is leading to climate change or global warming, I don't know, I'll leave that to the actual experts. But I think it's incredibly naive to expect no repercussions from all the pollution every day.

Pollution has no effect whatsoever on our climate.

It only effects our natural habitats, water, oceans, air, and everything else including food we eat.

But don't worry, that has no effect whatsoever on the climate and temperatures around the world.
