I've long thought the Angels needed multiple pitchers to feel out a rather weak rotation and not just one dominant guy. Ryu/Bumgarner, Bumgarner/Keuchel and Donaldson/Rendon (though they likely won't have enough for Anthony) would be a great get for them.

i think with what these pitchers have signed for, Hamels at 1/18 feels like a steal.

Hamels probably could've secured a 2/36, 3/48 type deal fairly easily if he had waited.

Benintendi is like a 2-3 WAR player and Price has negative value. That's almost as terrible idea as your Ozzie for Castro idea. It's almost like you want people to make fun of you.

You've got two in AAA.

Who exactly have the Padres developed? Other than signing terrible FA contracts, SD isn’t known for much.

It’s probably unrealistic to expect 2 bats of that quality unless 1 comes via trade.
