    It is extremely rare now, but I can remember guys like Winans who had success in an earlier era because they were in a rotation with guys with big-time fastballs. Sometimes a soft-tosser can be effective when the previous game the opponents saw a steady diet of heat.

    It's quite alarming our pitching staff has given up an average of 7 runs a game this home stand.

    Not even remotely. It's an extremely SSS. If it happens for about 15 more games, then sure. lol
