Feel pretty confident we'll have a new player or two before the nights over.

Gohara's gonna help us this year.
"I am a victim, I will tell you. I am a victim."
"I am your retribution."
no doubt... I think the impact on the 2018 team will be substantial, you just never know what next year will bring and I think AA wants to seize this opportunity to catch lightning in a bottle. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 more trades in total. I have a feeling we are hearing rumblings now on Sunday about the Rangers, Rays, Yankees because he wants more time to complete the biggest one of all, a jaw dropper that no one sees coming
Should Anthopoulos get Joey Gallo? Kevin Seitzer turn around the career of Joey Bats during the years together with the Jays.
Super (07-30-2018)
Another thing is Gallo he can cover third base or the left field next year.

yeah the real problem offensively isn't strikeouts, Dansby and Ronald are the only 2 above 20% (And I'll continue to say this, if Ronald can figure out how to cross the bridge to dropping the K rate to 20-25% as lets be honest, he's going to strike out, he's going to improve from his ups and downs and fast). The actual issue is too many young at bats, too much pressing in RBI situations (although I don't really care about the actual RBI totals) by them that looks bad. And the other one is this one, not enough power, if you don't get a single/walk then an XBH after that, it's too hard to score.
Edit: A perfect example of it is the last Max Scherzer game. Braves worked him over pretty well (especially so early), but because there was few extra base hits, it was way too hard to string together runs. If you're relying on the single, you're relying way too much on good sequencing to score.

Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
Olney- The perception in the industry is that the outcome of today's Nationals game -- their last before Tuesday's deadline -- will have a bearing on whether Washington is a seller. They trail the Marlins 5-0.
Herrera?

that's pretty much an exact numeric representation of what I was saying.
And let's make one thing perfectly clear: in the world that I live in, it takes zero balls to make bold claims or bold statements in an anonymous message board dedicated to fan discussion. You have a terrible habit of mistaking silence in the service of civility and good manners as cowardice and/or confirmation of your own superiority. Your attitude is completely tiresome, and your combative nature in here is truly puzzling. I'm not gonna get into a childish sparring match with you, it's clear that we disagree on a lot of topics, so I'll be ignoring you now - even though you do have some good posts every now and then, it's not worth wading through the 50:1 ratio... so, later!
apologies to the board for playing a part in another thread derail. I thought I was in GDT commenting on this topic, meant to be... Chipper's speach was pretty awesome :)
