I wish they'd sign him as a pitcher and then promote him straight to MLB so the Braves would stop winning these pointless games that are going to prevent them from the #1 pick.

If doing so helps the minor league teams sell tickets and if he shows well enough to give a shot, why would we oppose it? I guess some just hate him for whatever reason. Personally, I don't think much of some of his theology myself but this is baseball not a theological debate.

Why not? What do the Braves have to lose? It's not like they are going to pay him $10 million or anything like that. If he actually turns out to be good, the Braves will look good in the process.
