    That's a pretty bad idea given that Soroka is almost certainly on an innings limit this year. If I were Snit, I would have pulled him after 6

    Edit: Just saw where Snit said no innings limit. That is pretty bizarre given the circumstances.

    what was said is the Braves think an innings limit is less important that monitoring pitch counts

    "I am your retribution."

    All innings are obviously not created equally.

    Could be logical. The Braves do a good job monitoring whatever they monitor when they determine guys need a rest.

    Saying there isn’t an innings limit doesn’t mean guys won’t be rested as the season wears on though, which may turn into an innings limit in all but terminology.

    That makes a lot more sense. A 92 pitch 8 inning game from Soroka is a lot less stressful than a 110 pitch 5 inning game from Tehearn

    Babip = .333
    K = 30.0%, bb = 12.5

    Anyone worried?

    Certainly not convinced a QO is guaranteed. Dude is not a young pup anymore

    Im sure they monitor spin rates and command to see if a pitcher needs rest.

    Only 92 pitches and he's been breezing since the 4th. I think his pitch count was in the mid-50s after 4, so that would make less than 40 since. I'm fine either way, but it would be nice to have at least one complete game this year.

    If soroka is on an innings limit, I hate to waste some here with a big lead

    if Soroka is on an innings limit, i'd have pulled him after 6.

    But 92 pitches and hardly any stress innings, i'm good either way. He'll probably be skipped later in the season though. I'd probably throw a reliever in the 9th but i can see both sides.

    Declining slugger isn’t slugging right now. Hopefully the recent hard hit balls are a sign things are turning around.

    Shutting him down doesn't help his shoulder. That's the issue with pitchers now days anyway. They don't throw enough.
