10 years ago Europe thought terrorism was no big deal.
Yes I did. Here's one example

And another

And that's just with a cursory look. I'm sure I did much worse.

Those they've beheaded might disagree, but I'd just add radical to Islam. Even at an ahole rate of 10% that would still be at least 100 million potential murderers. we all need to do a better job of encouraging the 90% who aren't a problem. They already try we just haven't done enough to help/encourage them and if we were to play our cards right maybe even report them when that needs to be done.
Considering there's a population of 508M in the EU, yeah it's not a big deal.
As far as increase

So it's up now, after being down, after being up, but nowhere close to 70s or 80s.

Guys, terrorism is not a threat because only 150 died from it in the EU (the year is completely unimportant).

I'm not arguing with you. You probably weren't talking to me but I'm all for going after terrorists though I do not know if any single part (let alone all) of what we did the other night did any good at all. Nobody seems to be giving out much in the way of evidence, results, etc.
I would love for julio, hawk, & others to read this article and address some of the key points in it.
It's a long one but a good one

Last year. The violent bloody year if you believe the media.
From 1970-2015 Terrorism killed 10,537 people, or about 240 a year. With most of the violence happening in the 70s and 80s.
And that is all of EUrope, including Russia.
Which even if all 10K deaths happened in 1 year, Europe, has a population of 700M. 10K deaths in 700M is insignificant.
But hey lets go bomb and destabilize other parts of the world. Because of freedom!
