Definitely close. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the 3B angle.
I think it's fairly safe to assume that the umpire would not have made that call if the game were being played in Washington.
Have we even faced Harvey this year?
Stockholm, more densely populated than NYC - sturg
From Kevin McAlpin:
Bryce Harper (on the atmosphere this weekend): "I love these fans. I really do. They're absolutely unbelievable for their team."
So in the last nine games against the Nats we went 7-2 with a +9 run differential. Seven 1-run games. It feels like the reverse of fortunes from last year.
1. Great win, especially considering the 'B' team was in!
2. Teheran is really learning how to pitch rather than just throw.
3. Could have swept them this weekend; hope Soriano continues having blown saves.
4. Great that we can savor this win tonight as well as tomorrow.
5. Sorry for the doubters but Bryce swung; his bat broke the plane. (Why would anyone over here even question it????)
Wonder who Harper yelled at in the stands? Some fan was getting on him good right after Werth turned him away from the ump and he started walking into the dugout. Would love to know what was said!
