    4/24 GDT Soroka vs Reds

I refuse to believe I'm bad luck for the Braves.

For those wondering which low-ish power, high OBP batter should be hitting lead off for the Braves, I would recommend you take a look at the current #5 hitter with a .150 ISO and .400 OBP who I suggested should be batting lead off (at least vs RHP) before the season even started.

    Albies 4
    Donaldson 5
    Freeman 3
    Acuna 7
    Markakis 9
    Swanson 6
    McCann 2
    Inciarte 8
    Soroka 1

The Markakis to leadoff move has been so obvious for so long I am absolutely confident it will never happen.

Markakis isn't even as clutch as he's touted to be by especially announcers. He might 'drive in a lot of runs' but if it's real high leverage he hasn't been great in that lately. So there's not even old school reason to leave him in the clutch at bat scenario.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

    Backing up Enscheff's position--

Markakis has led of an inning 20 times this year and has 9 hits(.450 Avg).

    And to Georgia Girls comments

    RISP with 2 outs he's 3-11(.273), RISP less than 2 outs he's 8-25(.320).

But, he's 2-4 with bases loaded

Tichenor rings up Donaldson on a pitch that appeared to be well out of zone low.

This Ump crew is a bunch of "unknowns" looking to join the elite C.B. Bucknor list of graduates.

The shift strikes poorly there really (even though there are plenty of times its worked). That's two if the SS was there on Suarez's single. He's made one bad pitch so far.
