Does anyone ever remember a stretch where a team struggled this badly to close out games? I know we've had some bad ones, but this Philadelphia run is on another level. They were up 6-3 in the 9th and in my mind the game was still basically a coin flip.
Tough getting old, memory loses a little each year. Didn't the Braves overcome a 9 run lead by the Giantsin '91 or was it '93??
