It's funny that we are still a 75 win team (our projected record).
We are just making it there in a way no one could have imagined.

I've lurked for a long time on this board and just recently have started posted...one thing that's consistent is your total lack of knowledge of all things baseball and constant poo poo'ing on everything...You have no idea about the draft, who we've drafted, who's in the minors, who we've traded for etc...remind me why you pull/root for the Braves again? And I've never seen someone not be able to take a hint as much as you on a message board, most people would realize after a while when no one responds to anything they say that no one values your opinion or pretty much anything that you have to say...it's almost like an "ignore" function which I can't seem to find but it's self patrolled...and I could have swore I read a thread a while back with you in it proclaiming you were leaving the board, whatever happened with that?!?!
Ya unfortunately that's usually what happens when you can't trust anyone in your bullpen and you tend to overwork the guys that are ok lol
And the next relief pitcher who pitches against 3 batters abd cant get an out. Onky 3 runs earned.
So, send Folty down to get work in AAA and bring up Man-Ban. Bring up Ryan Weber and/or David Carpenter for the pen and send Cunniff and Masset down ... and that still probably won't help much.
Invest in bullpen arms. I don't care if this is supposed to be a rebuild or not. Maybe love Folty to the pen up for a bit. But, this would be stupid on management to not do something at least.
don't fear guys we still have Aardsma, Eveland and Masset to hold them while we comeback
Avilan and Cunniff look really good.....after they give up the deflating damage.
So you thought Peterson was going to be this good? And Markakis is a disaster in the outfield which is what most people talked about. You said it didnt matter and have since backtracked on that. Do you want people to call you on on that every time he turns a single into a double?
All of this is Foltys fault.
Even if this is a self proclaimed rebuild year, the team is 2.5 back in the middle of June. The Nationals haven't gotten going like the pundits said and the Marlins haven't performed either. I am not saying the team does something rash and make a huge splash on the trade front, but making a real attempt to improve the bullpen isn't asking too much. Hart doesn't need to stray of his path in order to do this either. Signing some journeymen from other clubs is not the answer either.
Why when I hear those names I think of the song "Send in the clowns "
While I love the fight in this team there has to come a time when the position players totally pack it in because of our pen..just to think about Where we would be without all the blown leads is amazing..in a rebuilding yesr to boot.smh
