I've been a Yankees hater since I can remember, but honestly I don't hate this team. They built the team the right way. Of course they had money to spend on veterans so it never looked like they were rebuilding, but they held their youngstres, flipped some vets, and built a good team.
Am I the only one who doesn't think any specific team's fans are worse than any others?

You are a better person than I. I think the vast majority of fans for each team fall into the "great fan" category, whether casual or hard-core fans. But there are a few fan bases that are just ridiculous and, in baseball, I put the Cubs' and Red Sox' fans at the top of the list. New York fans have a swagger that is annoying, but the Cub and Red Sox fans have this tortured inferiority complex built up over many years of futility that make them almost unbearable. In football, I'm a Packers' fan (although I barely follow the game anymore), and I will be the first to admit that the Packer fan base is littered with some real nutballs.
I can't hate this Yankee team either. I agree with Chico that money plays a huge role in their success, but I've always liked Girardi and I think Cashman has done better without the late George S. meddling in the team's business.
Wow, Sanchez, that was awful.
Swanson sucks
Man, Verlander has been incredible.

No way no I pull Verlander. No way! He'd be finishing this game and starting tomorrow.
Another wall scraper by Judge.
Yankees are playing this ingeniously.
I wouldn't have thrown Giles here.
Simon says "Go 'stros!"
It blows my mind that Charlie Morton is starting a game 7 in 2017.

If I'm the Stro's, he has the shortest of leashes. I'd empty out my entire BP if needed. I even wouldn't hesitate to have Keuchel come in as a quick LOOGY either.
How is it possible that Verlander was able to pitch like that last night. Don't The Twins frequently insist that north of 30 is immediate downward trend? Then McCann should be washed up too.
