I will say that adding Puig and Kemp to that lineup is interesting. Votto, Gennett, Suarez, Winker, Puig, Kemp isn't a bad group to have in your lineup at all. Plus this probably pushes Schebler to a bench/platoon role which will add to their depth. Who in the hell is going to play CF for them though? One of Kemp, Puig, and Winker are likely going to have to have their roles reduced or be traded.

Right. The Dodgers had some starting pitchers and outfielders to move. If they sign Harper, they are likely to trade away another outfielder.

Forgot about those two, they're so deep smh.

Right now they're probably, C- ?, 1B- Muncy, 2B- Kike SS- Seager, 3B- Turner, LF- Joc, CF, Bellinger, RF- Verdugo/CT3 for now.

Catcher/infielder Kyle Farmer is also going to the Reds, according to Jon Heyman of Fancred (via Twitter), along with $7MM, per Joel Sherman of the New York Post (via Twitter). C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic first noted (on Twitter) these aspects of the deal, albeit not in full detail.

They have one too many corner outfielders, and as you note need someone to play center. Winker is someone I have interest in. Reds still need more starting pitching.

Yeah this is something I didn't think about initially. The Reds are probably going to have to move one of those guys because none of them are capable of playing CF. They could become trade partners for sure. And I guess the Dodgers would still make some sense if they get Harper, but my guess is that they roll with Verdugo, Pederson, Harper as their main outfield with Kike and Taylor serving as utility platoons out there.

Edit: Nevermind. I forgot about Bellinger. They will still probably move someone in the event they sign Harper. Not sure how I forgot about that guy lol

I think Joc is the most logical target for us if they sign Harper. I would also have interest in Verdugo.

    Where does Bellinger fit in?

I hear he and Freddie are tight and Bryce loves Atlanta.

After remembering they have Bellinger, I agree with this. I think Joc Pederson has just vaulted to the #1 spot of most likely trade candidates for us.

If the Dodgers sign Harper they have him and Joc out there for sure. Any way Bellinger would be available?

I think the most likely Dodger trade candidates for us now are, in order:

    1. Joc
    2. Verdugo
    3. Chris Taylor
    4. Kike Hernandez
    5. Bellinger

I don't think Bellinger is going to go anywhere. I think they like his massive upside and controllability too much. I think it might be Joc or bust, but I could see Verdugo or Taylor as long shot candidates.

The five at the top of my corner outfield trade list:

    1. Pederson
    2. Kepler
    3. Winker
    4. Verdugo
    5. Peralta

I'm not listing them in order of value or preference, but more in order of likelihood the other team has interest in trading the player in question for one or our major league or near major league ready starting pitchers. I think the Dodgers will be more open to trading Pederson than Verdugo.

I still hold out some hope for Peralta, but it seems that the Dbacks are cool to the idea of trading him.

It is not an accident all are lefties. I think AA will focus on a lefty. Which leaves out guys like Puig and Taylor.

It’s been so quite in our front.

I bet it ends up being someone completely different.
