Wow at Riley. Like Texiera said, he has a very repeatable swing. His streak from the minors to the majors is freakish.

So webbs pretty solid eh?
gotta give the ump some props today. he’s been spot on with the strike zone on TV. even on really close stuff.

Go to Touki now.
Why was Blevins in to face right-handed hitters?
Nah it was Newcomb.
I hope Touki is throwing though so he gets in if the Braves don't get a run in the 10th.
I saw Riley turn around 95 for 100 MPH (or a little higher) recently. It just got caught. It might be the real premium velocity that is an issue if anything (like 96-98, Woodruff was throwing that and after he misplaced a changeup vs Acuna that went for a leadoff HR, Acuna also struggled vs it). That's OK, Acuna is iffy at times vs that (but if he connects its launched). His contact rates are shaky as heck right now but to me it's looked like he's lost vs sliders and cutters at times. Not the velocity.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
Walk walk walk walk walk walk.
Shoulda been Touki to start the inning. Freaking walks again
I still would have kept Venters. He was throwing low 90's still.
Forever Fredi
No idea why Blevins came in with one lefty up. He's a strict LOOGY.
