If it’s a one stop shop for AA and he gets Thor and Diaz then Anderson has to be the centerpiece for those 2 in a trade. If it’s just one of them then maybe AA can do quantity over quality and make Wright the headliner.

Yeah the Mets are going to want quality over quantity so we can't just give them a bunch of 40/45 guys and expect them to do it. If we get Thor and especially if Diaz is coming too its going to hurt a bit

Wright has settled down and has struck out 6 with 0 walks thru 6.

This is Brodie Van Wagenen we are talking about.

Does he have a breaking ball, or is he overpowering AA hitters with heaters?

There isn’t an arm in the system that has a chance to become what Thor is.

Any arm from the Braves is them getting 6 years of a lesser arm in exchange for 2.5 years of Thor

The gun says 95-96 on his fastball and it does have some movement to it. He’s thrown his breaking ball quite a bit actually and has struck out at least 2 with his curve.

It’s so odd to see those K numbers if there isn’t a decent breaking ball. Maybe the speed delta is causing the swings and misses?

I can see why teams would want Anderson. He definitely has looked the part. I haven’t seen Minaya since about the 3rd inning so he probably saw everything that he needed to. Hopefully he’ll be back tomorrow.

If he’s gone the only person he could have scouted is Anderson.

Some of the data has to be off. His breaking ball looked pretty good and was keeping the hitters honest and off balance.

That’s what I was thinking. He wasn’t here for Pache or Waters.

Which is extremely unfortunate, because both Wright and Anderson were top 5 picks, and apparently neither has a chance to develop into an ace.

I saw where the Braves asked about Whitt Merrifield. Him and Acuna would be a pretty nasty outfield and would slot in perfect at the 2 hole.

He threw about as many balls as he did strikes

Pache in lf and waters in cf is interesting. Are we showing waters can man cf for trade?
