The Atlanta Braves are sitting on a gold mine in 2-3 annums

    William Contreras at catcher.

    Freddie at 1st.

    Oz at 2nd.

    Dansby at short.

    Riley at 3rd.

Acuna is a star in left.

Pache is a star in center.

    Waters in right.

It honestly reminds me of the Cubs in 2016 but with more young pitching.

Soroka, Gohara, Newcomb, and Folty are already in the bigs.

They won't all pan out but the basic point is correct. We have a chance for a long window if we avoid the trap of thinking a particular year is the one where we "go for it."

Adding Jenista and probably another hitter at 9 next year doesn’t hurt the odds.

I’m glad to see someone has taken on the task of making completely homegrown future lineup lists haha.

Lol. Exactly. Because that’s how every team builds there team right?
Thinking that we’ll have a completely homegrown team is laughable. There will be trades and there will be veterans holding some of those positions. It’s inevitable.

Imagine the lists made around 91.

Pete Smith was very high on those lists. Imagine how many WS we would have won if he had also become a HoF pitcher.

    Got hurt.

I remember a game he pitched against the Padres before he got hurt and he was unhittable.

I think the general tone is that our prospects have the “potential “ to be a part of something big. Yes, other parts will be necessary but it’s at least optimistic to excited about where the Braves “could” be. Not bad OP.

    You sure about that?

Which system had a larger role in developing him?

I take homegrown to mean you DRAFTED AND developed the player. Nice to see you try to weasel out of this, though. Haha. Off to the computer lab with you! Shoo!

Now you’ve resorted to arguing sementics...the #1 indicator of a lost argument.

Computer lab? College kids are funny haha.

You still haven’t answered what your major is hero. I’m guessing community college general studies isn’t something you want to admit to pursuing.
