My feeling is rentals won't cost much...perhaps Baltimore goes "quantity" with Britton again but if he costs more than MAYBE one medium type prospect (maybe Dustin Peterson?) and a couple low level, color me surprised.
Funny thing is I can't think of many medium type prospects in the Braves system. It's either high level or low level most of the time.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
Seems to be a bit of a bidding war among contenders for Britton. I’d prefer AA not win a bidding war for a BP arm.

Here are the numbers for some of our current relievers against lefties:
Biddle 6.55 FIP 4.12 xFIP
Freeman 4.76 FIP 3.80 xFIP
Carle 3.31 FIP 4.66 xFIP
Minter 1.20 FIP 2.68 xFIP
Winkler 3.51 FIP 3.87 xFIP
Minter is the only one doing well against lefties. But he mostly pitches the 8th and 9th. If we can bring in someone like Britton who can free up Minter to play a more flexible role that would be good. Or alternatively, we can go with someone like Zach Duke or Avilan and leave Minter in his current role.

"I am a victim, I will tell you. I am a victim."
"I am your retribution."
You actually think the deal would have been the same to an in division rival?
Avilan might have PTSD from his time in ATL.
