    Enscheff = Donald Trump.

Maybe a son, don't know but he sure acts like him when he posts, insulting people, calling them names. Only other person I know that does it is Donald.

    Scary.

Don't look now, but Ronald's K rate is declining, his BB rate is rising, and his average is rising. wRC+ up to 118.

Let's see what the young man does in his 4th AB today against the Fish.

7/24 Acuna goes 0-3 with 0 Ks...GOOD game according to Taylor

Can't argue with that logic though...Taylor's daddy played D1 baseball, so Taylor knows athletes!

yeah...that's the biggest difference from early this year Acuna and now Acuna...he was swinging at everything early...much better plate discipline for the last month or so.

Was his homer today on a three ball count? It seems like he's working the count lately even if he does ultimately strikeout.

To me it looks like Acuna has shortened his swing. Has there been any discussion from Chip and Joe or anyone else about that?

I’m not a swing guru but I think not

Teams are trying to go in on him and when they do those lightening hands shoot trough.

I think his swing looks longer on outside pitches where everybody was going early.

Soto is hitting under .300 with this slump, Ronald is catching him.

I just pulled up his first home run as a Brave and today's Homerun. You can clearly see that Acuna's hands are in a different position. He has them closer to being over homeplate now. Earlier in the season he had them near his helmet. His stance looks different too. He's less upright now.

Here is a link to today's dong. Scroll down to get to Acuna's HR:

Acuna has honestly exceeded all of my expectations. I expected him to come in and hit to a .750 to .775 OPS in his first year. Just like most young players do. But for him to come in and put up a .850 OPS is incredible to me. He is on track for having a 20 to 25 homers, a very good slash line, and healthy amount of stolen bases. And he has done it while basically missing two months worth of games.

I think we can safely say that he is on his way to superstardom provided he stays healthy and doesn't hit a Heyward level slump. Couldn't be more excited to see him grow

Acuna has pretty much caught Soto in bWAR...1.9 to 2.0.

I fully expect Acuna to be leading Soto in WAR by the end of the year. Unfortunately I don't think it will be enough for him because a lot of that will be due to Acuna being a competent defender and Soto being awful. Offensively, unless Soto just tanks, he is going to have the more impressive resume and that is what the voters care about really.

He has adjusted his swing, to allow for a faster bat load.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Just pray he doesn't get hit in the face. But Acuna's 127 WRC+ currently would rank 13th among 20 year olds since 1939. He's going to be a beast.
