I hate Maholm...
I hate Maholm...
Jesus Christ, just keep burning through the relievers.
Our "bullet proof" bullpen, is showing some cracks now. I realize it's late and the overuse arguments, but now is a bad time to be going in the wrong direction.
take heart, Cubs bullpen is terrible, they won't keep us at 5.
*sigh* I thought this game was going to be a fun blowout.
I don't know why so many are so nervous, unless you're concerned about holding the home field. But all I keep seeing is posts about concern over clinching now and with regard to the Nats. The Nats are done, let's move on already. We can worry about the Nats next year. Whether we win today or not only effects our home field standing. The division race is over and all I care about concerning it is seeing a good celebration. Which won't happen on field today win or lose.
I realllllllllly don't want to see much of Maholm in the playoffs
And this team needs (HFA) all the help it can get in the playoffs.
I agree with the last part (win while you can), but not the notion regarding downplaying a good celebration I'm getting from posters. Further, tomorrow the games are not as far apart so easier for the boys, media, to stick around a bit. I just don't want to clinch the most boring way tonight, that's all. Plus I don't get the concern over the Nats at this point.
I dare them to hit Gattis here, nah that would be sad for everyone. Then we'd see a Bear eat a man, lol.
I don't know if Walden is even a high leverage guy anymore these days.
Gattis just missed there, I think it was off end of bat rather than sweet spot. If a little more up on bat that ball is gone and a long way too.
Too bad we can't hit Harper in retaliation with no more Nationals games.
