Another main stream site. Still nothing about denying coverage for pre-existing or about rape or something like that.

I want to see main stream sites information and explanation, not some fringe sites with a very biased and slanted article.

"The removal one of the two regulations, community ratings, could result in some people with preexisting conditions being charged more for insurance and priced out of the market, experts say. That possibility drove some moderates away from the AHCA, leaving the bill seemingly short of the needed votes to pass it.

There are concerns, however, that the waivers could have other unintended effects, such as gutting protections for employer-based coverage and ending funding for special-education programs at schools. "

It is a strange concept that people who will use the product more may need to pay more for said product.

The bill sucks. People like most on the board are the ones that are going to be fisted up the ass.

I hope a lot of Senators lose their seats in 2018 for approving this travesty. ACA had its faults but jeez not like this one that has a lot of holes that insurance companies can exploit as well as the rich.

And no, YOU CANNOT BE DENIED coverage. you just get charged up the ass and if you miss a payment, just like the credit card company, they can penalize you like no other.

    I removed the snark ---
It was the House the Senate vote is down the road

ACA is still, for now, the law of the land

ACA is a law that will collapse from under its own weight. This was correctly predicted from the start.

But like all things in government, they take a bad policy and make it worse.

    Medicine.

Why are they automatically people who are "least able to afford it?" by the way

I assume the answer you have in mind has something to do with boot straps or some such

    Medicine is "product" ?

Medical expenses almost tanked the *VP's* family

    Keep that in mind #ACA

Senate won't pass it, not without heavy amendments. Unlike House Reps, Senate has a big seat to lose for ****ing people up and don't have cozy gerrymandered districts to protect them.
