Maybe Acuna’s future is at 1B?

Are we just going to ignore the fact that Acuna was completely gassed while taking way less swings than both Joc Pederson and future DH Vlad Jr?

At least Alonso isn't unlikeable. It's not his fault he's a Mutt.

    Ronald won the aesthetics contest.

    Meh.

Acuna isn’t built like those other dudes. He exceeded my expectations though and was a ton of fun to watch. His spray chart was incredible.

To be fair, he was also lofting balls to dead center and right... not enough pull shots

Acuña is also the smallest guy in this derby, so fatigue could possibly be more of a factor because of that. Still thoigh, impressive show

Well a fan caught Alonso’s first of that round short of the wall and they counted it. Bastards.

I prefer to look at it like he lost to a Gator, which is the noblest sort of defeat.

He had :30 bonus to go, so Acuna was beat. Acuna will have to settle for MVP and WS title

Probably started to have doubts if he even loved derbies.

**** Alonso. He had way less homeruns than three other guys and he’s going to win the derby.
