Surprised how heavy he was. He had to be pinch run for.

In his past 6 appearances, #Braves reliever Jesse Biddle has recorded 8 outs and allowed 5 hits, 6 runs (2 earned) and 8 walks. Atlanta lost 5 of those 6 games.

Biddle showed improvement last night would be my guess as to why he stayed. He gave up a base runner on a perfectly placed ball that was called an error on Donaldson and then a perfectly placed hit (it hurt as a male to type that) that would have been a double play with any other bounce. Sure he gave up a clean single to the first batter of the inning and on the 2-run single but I don't know how he was physically able to pitch to that batter, tbh. They said Mac talked to him so I'm sure that also had something to do with him staying but Mac is right Biddle's stuff is too good to not get lefties out. I'd rather an outing like that happen than to walk the ballpark like Biddle had been doing.

I have to side with Bregman. Bauer’s comments about our approach and basically telling us how we should hit really rubbed me the wrong way.

Braves get Blevins(LHRP) in cash deal. Viz transferred to 60 day IL, Parsons sent down.

The Braves have acquired left-handed reliever Jerry Blevins from the Athletics, Gabe Burns of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution tweets. Cash is going back to Oakland, per David O’Brien of The Athletic. Atlanta subsequently selected Blevins’ contract, optioned Wes Parsons to Triple-A Gwinnett and transferred reliever Arodys Vizcaino to the 60-day injured list.

Acuina starts in CF as Ender sits for game 3 vs Rockies on Sunday.

Appears the Pades will be without Tatis Jr at SS for a "few days" according to MLBTR, but he might be ready for Monday game.

Padres rookie Fernando Tatis Jr. had to leave the team’s loss to the Nationals with a hamstring injury, but it seems the shortstop will avoid an IL stint. Tatis will miss “a few days” at most, sources tell the San Diego Union-Tribune’s Kevin Acee, who reports the 20-year-old could even play Monday.

If he plays Monday or Tuesday, I would be shocked. It would be stupid to risk a strain turning into a pull or even worse. 2 games out of 162 is not worth the risk.
