I thought he was making progress with off speed stuff but I'm starting to question that assessment.
He actually didn't, he made progress with watching stuff that is out of the zone but the only difference in zone was he was CRUSHING fastball mistakes. If that timing is not there he is not going to hit....a darn thing.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
