I agree with that. I think the best way to counteract this is to simply allow umpires to eject players for excessive celebration. Now you don't want to strictly enforce it because you want players to be able to show their personality, but in situations like this I do think everyone in the country could clearly tell that Bautista did this to stir up trouble.

I'd prefer to avoid this route, because I think ultimately it would just mean any celebration earns a player an ejection—that's just the way I think umpires' discretion would ultimately trend (sort of like how pushback against celebratory activities has made the NFL even more boring). I'm fine with how it's being policed now, to be honest: a well-earned bruise to the backside.
